Heh, heh, heh. Bush greatly confused some people tonight! |
|
He said this to Kerry:
"He voted to violate the budget cap 277 times. You know, there's a main stream in American politics and you sit right on the far left bank. As a matter of fact, your record is such that Ted Kennedy, your colleague, is the conservative senator from Massachusetts."
Um, I GUESS that was meant as a joke? The CONSERVATIVE senator?
But when I heard him say it, it didn't come off as a joke. It's like no one knew what to do with it. There was a little nervous sound in the audience. bush went "heh heh" and smirked like "ain't I a GOOD boy?" and there was an uncomfortable pause.
WAS that a joke, or was he confused again? Either way, NOT good for bush.
