weeks!
Thanks for the heads up.
I did not want to start to dis Katie since she has been so nice (OK - she gets down on staff on ocassion but that was about it).
I hope she comes back quickly to the ethical nice lady she has been over the years.

5. Russert's head is so far up Bush's butt, |
|
and Bush regularly gets Kerry and Kennedy mixed up, so it naturally passes on to Russert.

Katie is not a Bushlicker. Matter of fact, her late sis was a Dem Rep from the Charlottesville area of Virginia. Give her a break -- she's not supposed to be an employee of the DNC, y'know.

6. Oh you mean Ted, I was thinking this was a good thing |
|
if they were referring to Jack.
Maybe the listeners will make that connection too... Jack... Nixon... lost debate... and so on.

8. They are talking about JFK... |
|
there are many similarities between them. It is not Ted Kennedy, although that would not be bad either IMO.

11. Ah, the way the thread was reading |
|
I figured it was a put down. In some people's eyes, Teddy is a putdown.
Well then, let Tim be tired. I like the comparison between JFK and JFK. Makes sense since JFK is the reason JFK got into politics in the first place.

9. Russert Is Going Along With Bush's Tactic. |
|
We already know that they've abandoned the "flip-flop" label and their final game plan is to try and demonize Kerry by using "liberal" as some sort of scarlet-letter of shame.
The comparisons to Ted Kennedy are NOT accidental. The 'mis-speaks' of transposing Kennedy for Kerry are NOT accidental.
Tim Russert is a Republican SHILL and is helping to do their dirty work by planting the idea that Kerry is an evil liberal Mass-uh-chew-sits librul.

Just caught Russert on MSNBC and I thought he was actually pretty fair. He's saying that he expects a swing soon to one or the other and adds that while it could be a repeat of 2000 with the tight race, he doesn't think it will be. Here's hoping!
