Call to action: Please sign this petition for Milwaukee ballots
Edited on Thu Oct-14-04 11:53 AM by LittleClarkie
I just got this petition request in email from the Wisconsin Democrats, marked urgent. I signed it, and got this request to send this to friends. So, friends, won't you join me? Please head over to the PFAW website using this link, and give us a hand. Thanks.

Btw, this fits into Drudge's damn report, in that our call of "voter suppression" is being interpreted as "those damn Dems are trying to steal the election."

"Dear friend,
I just signed a petition to Milwaukee County Executive Scott Walker, demanding that he give the city of Milwaukee sufficient ballots for the November 2 election. We must protect democracy wherever forces attempt to suppress and disenfranchise voters.
After receiving only 679,000 ballots -- less than the city was given in 2000 and 2002 -- Milwaukee's mayor, expecting major turnout in this election, asked the County Executive for more ballots. "No way," said the county, telling the Associated Press that election-fraud "'chaos' could occur at understaffed polling places where voters could grab ballots."
There's strength in numbers - join me and sign the petition now! We need to put pressure on Scott Walker to give Milwaukee the ballots they need.

4. The desperation is rampant!
These people will do ANYTHING to suppress the vote.

But, I keep forgetting what the real issue is....DID JOHN KERRY CROSS THE LINE when he told the world that Mary Cheney is a lesbian? I have to focus and try to remember that!

Disenfranchisement good...lesbians bad. Disenfranchisement good...lesbians bad......
