Under examination Bush deficit reduction plan falls apart.
Though I do not have an immediate link, the BBC had a reports on fact checking the results of the debate last night on domestic policy.

The entire Bush plan for deficit reduction revolves totally on the fact that the tax cuts Bush gave in 2001 and 2003 will end. This runs contradictory to Bush's desire to make his tax cuts permanent. The plan he has put forth to cut the deficit includes government revenues that wil become available once the tax cuts passed in his first administration have eneded due to the sunset provisions in those tax cuts.

1. Please post a link when you find it, most CPAs in the U.S. are saying...
...the opposite to their small business clients and American small businesses are going to really get screwed if Bush's policies continue. Thanks for the heads up.

It was a U.S. journalist answering BBC interviewers I(guys name was Greg Katz) and he wasalso answering call in questions (fact checking questions) about both candidated. I have a link to the BBC article, but it does not include a full transcript)

Fact are that the CPA's are relying on the same Bush figures that do not take into account what will happen to federal revenues over the next ten years if Bush makes the tax cuts pemanent. They are basing their figures omn the fact that between now and 2013, portions of the middle class tax cuts are scheduled to slowly drop away and iin several more years the cuts to the rich are also scheduled to disappear. They are counting on revenues that will not be available if the tax cuts are NOT ended.

They can disagree, but if they are not making their judgements based on Bush's desired goal of making his tax cuts permanent, along with the additional three trillion dollars that other Bush fiscal ideras for the second term will add to the deficit that is already predicted. they are not using accurate figures.

The facts are their in the Bush plan on his ow web site. The figures show growing tax revenues as a result of the gradual roll back of his own tax cuts.

If you look at the Bush plan itself, it leaves out the projected 3.6 trillion dollars that will be added to the existing deficit if Bush is reelected and gets to make his tax cuts permanent.

4. Bush said on national TV...his plan to cut the deficit in 4 yrs will work
like this...he won't touch Homeland security and defense..."everything" else is on the table.

So...he will decimate and end social progams...just like he planned.

This guy states his plan openly....the number crunchers aren't listening. His strategery is simple...just like the shrub.
