Is Bush REALLY going to do anything about abortion? Is he REALLY going to do anything about gay marriage, when Cheney's own daughter is a lesbian? He's got a Republican controlled Congress, what's the hold up? Why hasn't he really DONE anything on these religious right issues?

Maybe that's the angle, I don't know. Would a pro-choice woman ever think of voting Republican, if she didn't think abortion was on the table? I kind of doubt it.
