Does the electioneering law apply to clothing items? |

I think I've heard that people have been denied entrance to the polls b/c they were wearing a campaign t-shirt. Would "A village in Texas is Missing it's Idiot" apply, since it doesn't directly list a candidates name? Please quote the law or post appropriate links, if possible.
on edit: spelled "denied" correctly

1. I've never heard of those laws being applied to people who go to polls to |
|
vote.
I've only ever heard them applied to people who aren't voting.
But I don't know what the laws say.

You have to cover any political logos or pins completely. It's the law!
