Ohioans can't be that... gullible, can they?
On CNN's in the money earlier today, they had Bill Wills, a radio host in Ohio (a Rush wannabe?) and after dividing Ohio into three regions, said that "people in the southern part of the state thought Bush did a great job all three times (the debates)"

This was hard for the CNN people to accept http://transcripts.cnn.com/TRANSCRIPTS/0410/16/cnnitm.01.html as even the most staunch Bush supporters conceded that he was terrible in the first debate.

And the sad concluding for me is that there are too many people for whom Bush is walking on water and no matter what they will vote for him.

Someone here told us that in many small towns (including Minnesota) there is nothing to do but to live around the church and what the pastor says is what the town's people follow.

Speaking of church, news report in the Twin Cities about some who tried to get the congregations of the two largest catholic churches to take a stand against Kerry because of abortion and stem cells. And someone replied: what about the death penalty and all the dying people in Iraq?

4. Im in N.E. ohio everyone on my street is Bush
Disgust everytime I drive in or out of my development. 250 houses
in my yuppiehood and im the only house with a Kerry sign.
I guess they all think their millionares.
To major companies holding this entire valley afloat......G.M.
Lordstown and Delphi Packard. Much of Delphi has sent jobs to
Mexico and will continue. Once Delphi is outsourced these yuppies
will have to sell the farm. Property values will drop and our
houses wont be worth shit.
Ok for my next door neighbor who is a Principal (lol) which home
schools his kids. For the rest of us.....i guess it will be
community colleges. Ohio truly has no limits of ignorance.

3. I am from Ohio originally,
And unfortunately, they CAN be that gullible. I was . . . once . . .

I have been long disturbed by the religious overtones of voting Republican, and I can tell you that the pulpits in many churches (that I have been to) are the sole source of political information that many will allow themselves to hear. It's not just Ohio, either.

I have argued time and again with my parents that it's not just about abortion. No one listens to me when I tell them that at the point when a woman decides her child is better off not being born, a part of her is already dead, and that we need to understand and prevent the circumstances that lead women to such a horrible mindset. An article in today's paper suggests that abortions are way up under Bush, I'll try to get the reference.

7. No offense to southern Ohioans, but we in northern Ohio look at it
as northern West Virginia.

(guess I have to apologize to West Virginians, too)

You go there and you could swear you're in Tenneseee or Georgia.

Im in ECentral and its Democrat. Ohio really is mixed up. But its going towards Kerry now. Thats something I knew could happen when Gore lost by only 3% and he didnt even bother campaigning in Ohio. He thought it was a lock for the repubs

I fear my relatives who still live there are less than brilliant. They'll probably go for the Dumbass this election. Yuck.
