Typical Pub, saying one thing while doing another...

If the man was so compassionate:

Where are the programs for the Poor,

The Homeless??

Where is the help for those that lost their JOBS? Reeducation programs my ass. BushCo cannot even think of making new jobs cause thats not in their Heart to make that sort of committment. They don't Want to even think about it, might Waste their Mind and Time.

Where is the Compassion for the Troops in Hells Way? Plastic Turkey? He flies 767623547586 miles with Condi to do a Photo Op serving our Troops Plasic Turkey>> WTF?

Where is the Compassion for all those Enron Employees who lost big bucks with buddy boy Ken Lay? They playing that Movie SILENCE OF THE LAMBS? We don't hear shit from Bush Co. Nada. I guess the Enron people really found out about the connection the Hard Way.... Some Compassion Bush got....

3. Hmm ...
I think you gotta vote 2. After all, he let the Bin-Ladens all escape back to Saudi Arabia after 9-11 when all American air traffic had been grounded. He even made sure that they couldn't be questioned by the FBI. Now, if that's not compassion, I don't know what is! :puke:

8. Butt, butt butt
It still doesn't cover my ass, Compassionate Conservative is an oxymoron phrase anyway. You don't have to be dimwitted to be a compassionate conservative. The question is whether it helps. Why? Because conservatism only makes sense if there is something to "conserve.
Compassion is conserved? Conservatives define themselves, it seems, by aligning themselves with the status quo. That is a recipe for disaster in an ever-changing world. Picture two men involved in a ballgame. One is trying to advance the ball, while the other is trying to hold it still. Who's going to win? Obviously the man who is trying to advance it. Picture two men in the boxing ring. One is trying to knock out his opponent, while his opponent is only trying to defend himself. Who's going to win? Obviously, the fighter who is attacking.

Those are illustrations of why the principle of "compassionate conservatism" cannot win. It is a purely defensive strategy. It is a holding action.

It's also an oxymoron. Because when you are confronted with evil, there is nothing compassionate about standing still.

It's like putting a pillow on the electric chair

So I still want my ASS so I can vote.

4. Is he compassionate when he openly disses the American worker while
supporting the offshoring?

(in 2003, he raised a stink about how IT workers weren't educated enough and that was why corporations were outsourcing. Which is a load of steaming cattle cack, the Indian worker gets 1/100th - 1/10th the salary your American equivalent gets. And the internet makes it easy for them to do it.)

10. Your ASS vote has been duly noted, LOL. Its was too late to edit
Butt I hear you, so do all too many out there. Bush has been an absolute asshole from day one.

He wouldn't take the Hart Rudman thing seriously back in january 2001, had he done so, 9/11 might have been much harder to pull off and in fact, may have been prevented. TheN he ignored the Aug 2001 PDB warning with a Headline that screamed OSAMA BIN LADEN DETERMINED TO ATTACK AMERICA USING AIRPLANES SOON. IF FACT, HE NEVER BOTHERED TO SHARE THE WARNING WITH ANY OF US. WTF???

So, I agree, its an oxymoron this Compassionate Conservative thingy. Bush is neither.

Even though my ass feels better
oxymoron (âk-si-'mör-ân) n. a combination of contradictory or incongruous words.

Bush is an oxymoron, he even speaks and lives it :
Iraq is turning out to be a “catastrophic success.

compassionate conservative,

he has a "ranch" but no cattle or horses

, The Central Intelligence Agency of The United States of America in Langley, Virginia was officially re-named "The George Bush Center For Intelligence."

"armies of compassion" the debates gwb

"Governor Bush to me is an oxymoron - he wants small government, but also wants to have government tell me what to do with my body," she said impassionately, clutching her chest. "No discussion. It's a turnoff."

“jobless recovery” never heard of that one.

just having fun.
