This election makes EV vote/Nebraska - Maine split
important, doesn't it?

NEBRASKA:
5 more days in Nebraska before Voter Registration Deadline (Oct 22).

I could use some help in Lancaster County (volunteers?)
I have recruited (potentially) 3 young voters here to help spread the word to peers.

Is 2nd District a lock?

Is Maine a dead lock? How are your districts voting?

How likely is EV split?

LEWISTON, Maine -- This state won't be the main event in the frantic, final days of the presidential campaign, but Maine could provide the most interesting sideshow of any of the electoral battlegrounds

1. And Colorado. Looks like referendum will pass and so EV split there too.
Every little bit.

3. I don't know about ammendment 36.
There's a poll showing that it will be defeated by 11%, and one showing that we will pass it by 1%. I think that anybody who is counting on Kerry carrying Colorado or for us to split our votes as part of their election strategy is sadly mistaken.

Perhaps by 2012 we will be a blue state. Not this time, sorry.

2. Do you really think John Kerry can win one Nebraska district?
I think your services would be better utilized in Iowa.

4. Yes I do.
It is quite possible he could win 2 districts. I was going to go to Iowa, but decided that I will stay here and work in the first district. We have the best shot in decades of taking this house seat.

6. I'll defer to your judgement on the congressional race
But I can absolutely promise you that George W. Bush will handily win all three congressional districts in Nebraska, a state that has not voted Democratic since 1964.

5. Franco-Americans
Franco-Americans its hard to believe that bush would get 30% of that vote considering all the french bashing that goes on over that GOP.
