6. When? Where?
I haven't seen that.

I think there is a valid possiblity that WP will not endorse Kerry.

9. The Washington Post has endorsed Kerry?
You got a link for that endorsement? Seems like it would be big news -- your post is the first I've heard of it.

13. If not, I apologize.I was reading a complaint somewhere about a
'tepid' WP Kerry endorsement. Perhaps I read incorrectly! If so, sorry.

Perhaps the acount I was reading was a botu a WP editorial that someone characterized as 'a tepid endorsment'

19. I read the same article...
although I don't remember who wrote it or where (someone's blog, maybe?). In any case the "tepid endorsement" thing was pure speculation on the part of the writer. The Washington Post has not yet published their endorsement -- and probably will not do so until next week.

5. The White House stenographers? Endorsing *?
I don't see why anyone would be surprised.

One would have to be living in a fantasy world to think that the Washington Post is on our side. It is the mouthpiece of the oligarchs, nothing more.

nobody cares what the wp says anymore but washed up media whore pundits. They lost their credibility over their support of the neocons.

15. "Some say" the WP will endorse Kerry but continue to push WH
talking points. See this article: http://www.onlinejournal.com/Media/021104Hasty/021104hasty.html

Especially this paragraph:

So, for example, while the Washington Post editorial page endorses the Democratic candidate for president one day every four years, in keeping with its "liberal" tradition, the rest of the time it can spend on the front page advancing the agenda of what George W's role model Winston Churchill called "the high cabal" that oversees the interests of Wall Street and the national security state—which are generally Republican. But of course the Post, the inside-the-beltway national newspaper of record, will endorse the ideas of whichever party the Graham family and its retainers feel will best advance the unique political and financial goals of their own shape-shifting ruling-class faction.

20. The Washington Post will endorse Kerry
Even Fred Hiatt (the editorial page editor) is not dumb enough to endorse Bush. The circulation people would kill him for starters.

24. I Canceled My Subscription 4 Months Ago
(After 30+ years of getting home delivery)
A few weeks later I get a form letter asking
why I was canceling. All the check form choices
related to actual delivery (on time, right place, dry, etc)
and the ever present check box labeled "Other"
Well, I checked "other" box and told them why: No Longer Credible.
The Washington Post that had exposed Nixon's criminal activities
was now covering up for the most criminal administration in our
nations history. I told them from now on I get my news on line
from real journalists abroad.

It realy is an excellent paper, editorial slant excluded.
If they do endorse Kerry I will be happy, but remain un subscribed.

No way the Post will endorse Bush. The Times however....
