LOUISIANA DU'ers: Who's Better for the Senate: Kennedy or John? |
|
There are two top Democratic contenders - Chris John and John Kennedy. Most of the coverage has tended to favor Chris John who has John Breaux' support. However, I've read that Kennedy has strong backing and is close to John in the polls.
Is Kennedy a better choice? From what I've read, he's more progressive. Could he win a runoff against David Vitter?

1. My family (around eight votes) are voting for Kennedy |

Chris John is turning me off big time. How ridiculous to support cockfighting! I watched a debate with the candidates the other night and Kennedy did way better than John, also. I don't like the way Chris has voted while in congress either.

2. John is even more conservative than Breaux |

Hey we won the governorship in Oklahoma by supporting cockfighting.

But I'll certainly support Chris John if he makes the run-off, despite the fact he's a very conservative Democrat.

4. Personally, I prefer Kennedy, HOWEVER... |

Chris John has a better chance of beating David Vitter in the runoff. Vitter plays well to the conservative Dems.
