Ask them why they're undecided. From what I can tell they're unsure about Kerry and the War on Terror. Ask them, "Would you trust someone like Wesley Clark to effectively handle the War." Most will say yes. Remind them that Clark will either be Secretary of Defense or State. That should alleviate some of their fears. It seems to work with people I talk to.

I've posted this before but the line that has worked for me with people who say, "I don't like either one of them." is "the fundamental difference between the two is that Kerry has an intellect and a conscience and * has neither."

You're absolutely right though. I'll bet plenty of undecideds are just paralyzed by all of *co's NLP fear mongering. Clark is indeed the perfect antidote for that paralysis and his image counteracts all of the fallout from the all the despicable SBV's smearing Kerry's service, and reliability.

2. Also, remind them that Wes Clark fully supports John Kerry.

That means a lot to me, even if he is not Sec of Defense or State.
