Bush will continue to further divide this nation. |
|
Anyone that doubts that is not dealing with reality. How much more division can we take without it boiling over into the streets? How "safe" will we be then? The danger is not outside this nation, it is within.
It is up to the people of this country to decide the direction we should go. If they are so paranoid of terrorism that they fail to see what is happening right under their noses, then we could be facing a hard row to hoe.
The present leader took office under a coup, many people believe. But he said he would be a uniter, not a divider. This is another promise he failed to keep. And perhaps it is the biggest and most important promise. Our nation has gone as far as it can possible go to the right. If George Bush and the Repubs get four more years, there will be a heavy price to pay.

little voices get in the way of their ticket - like listening to the needs of minorities, the enviroment, and so on.
They get pretty pissed off when I point out the repubs have done the same by letting the Religious Right co-opt their party.
Unfortunately - the rest of us are stuck in the middle of a bad three-way.

The environment, minorities, women, gays, labor--those are the "little voices" that demand to be heard. Together they resonate as one thunderous voice!

...it makes me sick that Bush had the nerve to even claim to be a uniter. This man is so clearly for certain groups basically rich people, big companies, hard core Christians and fools that think any liberal is a communist or something like that.If you don't fall into one of those categories Bush basically does not care about you.His policy in essence advocates one part of the American people pushing around the other part, its the very definition of division,it is in many ways his worst lie.I have never liked Bush, always loathed the man but in the past few weeks I must confess that my hatred for him has reached new levels. It breaks my heart to think of what he has done to us and that so many blindly follow him and try to destroy any that do not.It really scares me to think what could happen if he gets four more years, the damage he could do,its almost unthinkable,it'll take decades to repair.

4. That's why Richard Clarke titled his book |

Against All Enemies a nuance often overlooked, I thought. He considers Bush part of the problem, not any solution.
