4. I think the overwhelming majority of 2000 Nader voters
are going K/E this year.

Here in San Francisco, the Bay Guardian (http://www.sfbg.com) has endorsed Kerry. This is the paper that considers Mayor Gavin Newsom a "conservative" and has attacked Rep. Nancy Pelosi. They endorsed Kucinich in the Dem primary, and yes, they endorsed Nader in 2000. Kerry is more to the right than the SFBG would like, but they recognize that our number-one priority above all is to get Bush out.

I've said this repeatedly and I'll say this again, I don't think Nader is going to be much of a spoiler this time. I'm convinced that most of his votes will come from people who weren't going to vote for Kerry to begin with.

6. Me & 3 family members were Nader 2000
and my current boyfriend, too. We're all voting K/E this year. Frankly I had a hard time with this decision, for various reasons, but I decided about 3 months ago that I had to vote Kerry. Having seen the Frontline Choice 2004 special online yesterday, I feel even better about this decision.

Bush has got to go. Too many people are dying, and my personal principles about what democracy SHOULD be seem somewhat trivial in the face of the disaster BushCo has uinleashed on this country and the world.

5. I contend that the majority of Nader voters are not fools
They are wonderful patriots like those of us on DU. They now realize the full damage that can be done by an ideologically driven GOP, and that the Dems are truly different from the GOP. Sure, there are still many similarities, but the intelligent 2000 Nader voter will not make that mistake this time.
