Rasmussen and Zogby Both have the Race Dead Even
Edited on Mon Oct-18-04 02:01 PM by louis c
Scott Rasmussen, the pollster who happens to be a Republican has the Presidential Race Bush 47% to Kerry 47% in his 3 day national tracking poll. This is a 2 point Kerry gain from yesterday.

John Zogby, the pollster who happens to be a Democrat has today's numbers Bush 45% to Kerry 45% for the same 3 days of tracking. This is also a 2 point Kerry gain from yesterday.

It's amazing that these two independent pollsters have the race figured nearly the same.

Gallup has turned out to be the most unreliable of all the polling data. Please disregard them, they are in the tank, and their track record proves it.

Our only problem, is that less informed voters buy this shit, and we have to keep them aware of Gallup's bias.

1. Good news
The trend to Kerry in these polls is heartening.

I don't think I'll rest easy until the election is certified and Kerry is sworn in, though.

3. These polls mean nothing...
the people being polled are the rich and middle class, those who own computers and still have old phone systems which are needed for house alarm systems. Their sample of polling is very small and it's not scientific.

Most people I know who are below middle class, don't own computers and only have cell phones. Most buy cell phone cards which they find less expensive. They can call but can't receive calls.

The volume of people registered to vote is the largest in US history, and the Democrats always register more people.
