How to suppress the Republican vote

  • Tell them roving bands of minority kids are just waiting for them to leave the house so they can steal their TV.
  • Big sale on loofah mitts and falafel.
  • Put golf on TV all day long on election day.
  • Broadcast an alert saying that the Rapture is in progress and Christians' cars must remain unmanned.
  • Put rasslin' on TV all day long on election day.
  • Elevate terror level to Mauve: threat of gay public displays of affection at polling places.
  • Put NASCAR on TV all day long on election day.

Any more ideas?

9. Remind them that low turnout favors Republicans,
So they should help out by staying home.

Remind them that a vote for Nader is as good as a vote for Bush, plus it takes a vote away from Kerry. That's twice as good as simply voting for Bush.

"Put golf on TV all day long on election day."

My dad's an avid golfer and voted NDP in our last election.

13. OK, sorry
I'm guilty of stereotyping. But don't you think more golfers are Republican than Democrat?

"I call upon all nations to do everything they can to stop these terrorist killers. Thank you.
(George W. Bush brandishes a golf club)
Now, watch this drive."

11. Warning....What They DIDN'T Tell You
Homeland Security has notified only the true First reactors that the election has been moved to November 3rd. This will be announced the weekend before the election and those involved have been sworn to secrecy under severe consequences if they leak out this information before Tom Ridge makes the announcement.

Now I don't want to scare anyone, but best not to let the Democrats or the terrorists know, the real election will take place Wednesday, November 3rd.

Pass it on...
