That was my best line tonight on the phone bank tonight.

I got an undecided on the phone who was willing to tell me what issue was getting in the way of making a decision. She said that both men are politicians and she didn't know if she could trust either of them.

I told her that all we have to go on is what both have done compared to what they say. In 2000 Bush said one thing but hasn't done any of it. Kerry, on the other hand, despite what the other side says about him, has been pretty consistent if you look. I said I know the other side has called him a flip/flopper, but "that's like listening to the Bears talk about the Packers." That was the single phone call I felt the best about tonight. It's really cool what we're doing in Wisconsin. We have a phone bank set up at the union office, and it is a "predictive" system that must be similar to what the telemarketers use. We just wait for a boop then a beep, see a name come up and start talking. I was in the Milwaukee area talking to Green Bay, almost 4 hours away. So we are calling the whole state from our little corner.

Didn't know I was calling Green Bay at first. Good thing I mentioned the packers ;)
