Sinclair to show TWO anti-Kerry films?
If I understand the yahoo.news article about Sinclair firing its Washington Bureau Chief, Sinclair is not only going to air the anti-Kerry "documentary," it is ALSO going to produce an hour long NEWS PROGRAM SPECIAL about the documentary. So that's TWO SHOWS. One this week, and the news program next week? Is that it?

Should we be worried? Or calmly assured that they are so desperate that they are still hounding this old horse from August?

3. I thought that the
hour long news program thing would be immediately after the "documentary"? At one time is was going to be a panel discussion of the film and supposedly they asked Kerry to attend? I am not sure if that is correct, but it seems like what I heard.

7. Two hours?
"Stolen Honor" is only 42 minutes, so I figured the remaining part of the hour would be filled with "news" content about the film from their NewsCentral desk. What exactly that could be, I can't figure out. Jon Leiberman, the guy who was fired by Sinclair today, said there was no way to validate what was said in "Stolen Honor," so it seems like the "news" team there has 18 minutes to fill with fluff, or 78 minutes if this Yahoo article is to be believed.

We welcome your comments regarding the upcoming special news event featuring the topic of Americans held as prisoners of war in Vietnam. The program has not been videotaped and the exact format of this unscripted event has not been finalized. Characterizations regarding the content are premature and are based on ill-informed sources.

Massachusetts Senator John Kerry has been invited to participate. You can urge him to appear by calling his Washington, D.C. campaign headquarters at

10. They're inviting comments. I tried to tell fellow Dems not to e-mail them
that that's what they wanted, controversy and interest. They WANT e-mails.
