CBS Radio reports Kerry +10 RV & +13 LV in New Jersey
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 06:58 AM by Jersey Devil
Just heard a report on CBS-880 AM New York all news station that the Rutgers-Eagleton Poll, conducted by Rutgers University for the New Jersey Star Ledger, gives Kerry a lead of 10% among registered voters and 13% (yes, better among likely voters) among likely voters. It is being reported on the radio but no links yet.

8. Doesn't surprise me at all
In fact, a while back the media tried floating the idea that Jersey was neck and neck and thats when I became thoroughly convinced that the polls are skewed. (although I had always believed it on some level)
I know in my gut that the state I grew up in, and understand intimately, will NOT vote Bush, no matter how the media tries to spin it.

9. State Polls Say A Lot More Now
I'm sitting here listening to Day 2 of "Supress The Democrats" with fatass Tony Blakely all but claiming victory and telling us how poorly Kerry connects with "middle America". Who the eff does this Brahmin know? But then when your world view is to deny reality nothing phases me right now.

The newspaper statewides are verifying what we're seeing and many here are reporting...the national polls are being manipulated and aren't jiving with the local ones.

Honestly, I think the Repugnicans are doing us a major favor by overplaying as badly as they are. In addition to pissing us off and make us work harder, they're starting to really fool themselves into one hell of a rude awakening.

Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 07:35 AM by unfrigginreal
They've listened to their own spin for so long that they're plodding along like the blind heading for a cliff. The Bush visit to New Jersey yesterday was either the most incompetant decision for use of his time or a desperate attempt to appear confident as the ship is sinking.

I'm starting to believe that we've got this thing wrapped up but I'm not willing to let my guard down yet.

11. I think they are doing this
to trick Kerry into spending time in states that are safe for him so that he can't take any of their red states (like Colorado).

12. You can tell their internal polling
is saying Kerry is way ahead because they don't seem worried about the state in the least bit
