"Bush did not protect America on 9/11....he was asleep at the wheel..."
That is what I want to hear Kerry say.

We now know, after most of the evidence has come out, that Mr Bush ignored every warning that could possibly have prevented the tragedy of 9/11. He had intelligence telling him that Middle Eastern men were training to fly planes. He had a memo on his desk that bin Laden was determined to strike US. He ignored them all and went on vacation. He did not protect us then and we should not trust him to protect us in the future. We can no longer gamble with our security and safety by voting for George W Bush...

3. Right on!
Kerry needs to tear down Bush's "credibility" on this perceived strength.

5. Amen- a Dem president would have been impeached, vilified by now
I can't understand why people don't hold Bush more responsible but instead let him shamelessly exploit the tragedy when he and his appointees did absolutely nothing to prevent it.

7. The largest terrorist attack on American soil..
... happened on Bush*'s watch. The pugs can spin, lie, obfuscate all they want, but that is A FACT.

One that I wish the Kerry campaign (not necessarily Kerry himself) would talk about a lot more.

8. He did not want to prevent 9/11
It is what gave him the power to attack Iraq and run roughshod over the civil liberties on the citizens.
