Have any DUers been contacted by a polling firm? |
|
If so what was asked? I was polled 2-3 times in 2000 and 2 times during primaries, but not for general election.

3. Yeh, I got polled. I said I'm pro-Kerry, but wish now I'd said "undecided" |
|
If you say you're undecided, there's a chance they'll call you up for a focus group, which is a good place to persuade a couple extra votes.

here in Ohio. Was polled on the state amendment for DOM. Was asked if a likely voter and said yes. Was asked if for or against the amendment and said against. Then a dumb question. Did I think the passage of DOM would be bad for the state economy. What the heck is that???? Said no.

I was "Galluped" in April or so. And I don't know now if I've been contaced or not. I have had a lot of certain "reseach groups" come up on my caller ID which I've never seen before but I don't answer---and that should tell a bit about what's going on with these pollsters. Oh,,,let me share something. Joe Klein in his editorial in Time the other day said that pollsters privately tell him that 90% of those who DO ANSWER THE PHONE refuse to talk to them........that says something to about polls.
