Reading back through pages 2-on, I've seen several posts and references to Dr. Judith Steinberg-Dean, the vast majority of them not flattering or, at best, neutral. Have we become so personally-invested in our respective candidates that we have lost all obejctivity? Have we descended to a level at which thinly-veiled attacks on a wonderful wife, mother and physician are now 'fair game'?

Have we hit bottom yet?

Which was quite ludicrous because it seems Clark is the immediate attacked candidate after a dean attack, whether a clark supporter started the thread or not.

You'd hope so... but probably not. I agree with you 110% that attacks on spouses and family members are out of bounds. I don't think even "Chicago Rules" condones those sort of attacks, right? Go after the CANDIDATE if that's what floats your boat, but leave the family alone. I've objected on at least a couple of the threads, but didn't read beyond the intial post to do so. If people were actually getting into doing that, I didn't want to see it. I know there were at least a couple more threads that I *didn't* click on, I hope somebody objected on those too.
