Is it Spring? 'Cuz the lawns are blooming w/Kerry signs

It's a great thing to see, too. For past month, all I've seen are Bush/Cheney signs on my block in my new neighborhood in Milwaukee. I thought I was surrounded by nothing but conservatives.

Then I came from walking the dog yesterday and was delighted to see my next door neighbor had planted a Kerry/Edwards lawn sign. Today, on the exit from the freeway to my street, I felt like I was driving past a parade--almost every lawn had a Kerry Edwards sign planted--outnumbering the * signs two to one!

It's very validating to see where people really stand.

put a * sign. I think I may be a good neighbor and replace it with a Kerry/Edwards sign. I'm sure the * sign was just a mistake.

4. I love living in Portland, OR for this reason

I've lived in a few cities around the country and I've never seen anything like this. Kerry/Edwards signs abound. I take the bus every day and there is a HUGE one just up the block along the bus route. Not to mention all of the bumper stickers. I've seen some * signs but they are greatly outnumbered. I've also seen a good number of anti-Ammendament 36 signs (the anti-gay marriage/anti-equal rights ammendment).

I have to get a sign but I've been too busy to go to campaign HQ. I am going tomorrow come hell or high water.
