Keep the phone calls coming, Bush campaigners!

Because the more money the Bushitters spend here in Michigan, a state they won't win, the less money they have to spend in places where they might do some real damage!:)

Any other Michiganders being driven up the wall with the relentless phone calls? They're acting as if they actually have a chance to win here!

1. Hi Patsified, I have been getting some calls from something called . . .

"Dial America" everyday for the past two weeks. I have not answered it because I feel it is probably a telemarketer, but my caller ID picks up the name and number.

I was just wondering if anyone else is getting calls from something called, "Dial America?"

2. Dial America is a 'boiler room' for different people.

We'd been getting those, too. Mr. Nownow finally got sick of seeing it on the Caller ID and picked up the phone, last night.

It was Mothers Against Drunk Driving selling magazine subscriptions to raise money.

Don't know if that's what your calls are, but that's what our 'Dial America Mktg' calls probably have been. They won't be calling back, I hope -- not that I have any strong feelings either way about MADD, but if we subscribe to another magazine, our dining room table will collapse.

4. Yeah, that is who it probably is. I bought a subscription once . . .

and they say a certain percentage goes to the Charity. Interesting how they work things around the Law, don't you think. I am on the Do not call list (actually, I have placed myself and friends and family that have requested me to do so).

The Mother's Against Drunk Driving are the only calls I get and it involves buying magazines so they can give money (that is not tax deductible by the way) to their charity.

3. That's my feeling.

I was a little perturbed when one of my freeper friends or relatives put me on the B/C mailing list - but then I figured the more Kerry-slamming DVDs they send me, the fewer they'll have to send true undecideds.
