1. excellent ad
for some reason, ads don't ever get much attention on du, unless, of course, it's the "wolf ad"

3. Bravo! It has the eagle, changing course while flying overhead AND
I love it each time JK says "I will find and kill the terrorists." He never raises his voice or does extra emphasis on this, like bush would. JK says it as a matter of pure fact.

We all know he jumped out of the swift boat, pursued and killed the VC sniper. He has killed enemies of our country - up close and personally.

You know he means business when he speaks those plain words.

4. how was the
VC an enemy of OUR country? Yes--he had been sent there--and he did what he was told to do--but please don't say that those people he killed were enemies of MY country. It was a wrong and illegal war. Sound familiar? In 30 years are we going to have people who killed innocent Iraqis saying that they killed OUR enemies? Please don't go there.

Thank you.

6. Point well taken, but it's a TV ad, not syllogistic disputation

5. The emphasis he puts on the world "Always" is very convincing

both times.

He is direct and reaching with this ad. No phony bullshit. This message feels real and genuine.

7. The eagle is a good touch
Play it along with the Eagle and the Ostrich and you get double the fun. Good ad. Simple and direct, but genuine (Repubs usually get two out of those three).
