Exit Polling Update

I just got off the phone with a representative of Edison-Mitofsky's Election Research team.

I signed to be an exit poller a few weeks ago after seeing a link here on DU.

On Wednesday, just as promised, I received a comprehensive packet with materials, training, contact info, copies of local election law, etc. Very thorough.

Then last night they called me and wanted to go thru the packet with me. I wasn't home so they called me again today and they verified that I'd received everything I was supposed to receive. I was also informed that if I didn't call in for my mandatory phone training next week that I would be automatically replaced with someone else.

Net: I'm very impressed. These folks seem very organized and focused. We should all take heart that someone is trying to do exit polling right.
