More Unscientific Temperature-Taking. But telling.
As some of you know, I am swinishly and irreperably addicted to playing an online game called "Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory". I know. Shocking. Me, dead set against war and killing, playing an online war game, a first-person shooter.

Perhaps this is the way we should fight all wars? Certainly would cut down on the damnable expense...

Anyway, it is fun, I enjoy it and I certainly know it's just pixels.

Between rounds, a screen pops up that shows the scores and allows all the players to chat, in an IRC kind of way. During that screen, someone asked who people were voting for. Not one, NOT ONE of these war-game-loving players on one of the biggest and most highly-regarded(for player quality and talent) servers(If you must know, the server was "Shit-Storm Chaos") had ANYTHING good to say about Dear Leader. But OMG, they had good stuff to say about Da' Big K. Some of the remarks about Dear Leader sounded like this was DU Day on Shit-storm Chaos, too.

I didn't say a thing. I didn't have to. Anything I would have said would have been redundant.

Frankly, I was amazed and impressed. This really does mark a sea-change from about 2 months ago. Even players that were supporting the chimp back then were not, now. And remember, not all of those players are kids. Hardly.

Old fogies need their fraggin' too. ;-)
