reagan democrats- will they be back? |

wondering where the old reagan dems are. they can't be voting for chimpy. anybody have a source for numbers on this group? btw, i know of about 1 dozen lifelong repubs voting kerry. couple even have k-e yard signs.

republicans for kerry organizations -- as you note -- so I suspect that they are coming back, and bring people with them!

That was the worst misnomer ever! You can't be for Reagan and still be a democrat. Impossible. It's about the same as being called a Lenin Czar. Makes no sense!

negative, but I don't think they are coming back. I think most of the "Reagan Democrats" are the Zell Miller's of the world. They actually AGREE with the Republicans on all their social and economic issues--but for some mysterious reason (perhaps family habit?) they are registered as Democrats. I would forget these people even exist--they are Republicans pure and simple and we don't need them anyway.
