I think it is time that everyone took a deep breath and showed some faith. The polls are meaningless. Kerry is going to win by at least 20-30 electoral votes. I feel it in my bones. These polls are total BS and the media is trying to brainwash everyone into an inevitable Bush win.

What does it help Kerry if we, his hardcore supporters, even put the energy out there in the Universe that "Kerry is down in Iowa by 3" or "Kerry is down by 5 nationally according to GE/MSRNC"? It does nothing for us and everything for them.

The best way to help Kerry right now is BELIEVE that Kerry is going to win by a landslide. I mean really convince yourself of it. To borrow a line from the repukes, "believe ME not your own eyes." And take the energy behind that belief to the phone banks, to the streets and to the Universe.

We also need to seperate our belief that "Republicans WILL steal this election" from "Republicans are TRYING to steal this election". There is a huge difference in the two statements. We must acknowledge that they will try but our belief MUST be that they will FAIL. This is important as the energy we put out there will come back to us.

DON'T GET SIDETRACKED BY DISTRACTIONS
Republicans are going to continue to throw Sinclairs, Mary Cheneys and Teresa Heinz-Kerry type distractions at us. Rove wants us focused on side issues so we can't do damage in the REAL campaign - which if you recall is Bush V. Kerry...not Sinclair V. The People; not Teresa Vs. Laura; not Mary V. Liberals; not skewed Gallop polls.

It is very difficult, I know, but the best thing you can do for yourself and for John is to set these distractions aside. We have 10 friggin' days left. Focus on the campaign. Don't get off message. Rise above.

CONFIDENCE IS EVERYTHING
If you ask almost any successful person anywhere in the world about their success they will tell you three things:

1. They never doubted that they would succeed. NEVER.
2. They stayed focused on their goals no matter what the odds.
3. They maintained a POSITIVE attitude no matter what rain came their way. Bad press, stacked chips, cheating competitors, it never mattered. Whether you believe in positive thinking or you think it's voodoo, there are just too many documented success stories to explain away the effects of positive thinking. Worrying about whether you are going to lose or being pessimistic about your own ability to succeed will become a self-fulfilling prophecy the MAJORITY of the time. You need to believe that Kerry is going to win by a landslide. It is of fundamental importance to all of our efforts. What does it do for John if you are sitting in a ball on your couch glued to CNN as the Republican news models tell you over and over that Bush has it in the bag? You become your own worst enemy. You are allowing our competition to condition you directly. No successful person would ever allow such a thing.

THE MEDIA IS RIGHT WING - DON'T FORGET
I think a lot of people were given false hope after the first debate that the media would treat this campaign differently. They were dead wrong. The corporate media is a Republican toy. Does it mean we should stop hammering the media? No. But, it is a grain of salt. How much effort can we throw at a Wolf Blitzer that made up his mind to vote for Bush in this election four years ago? Why do you think Air America even exists? Better to focus on the campaign against Bush at this point - not the NY Times.

If you can follow my advice for the next 10 days, I GAURANTEE you we will be dancing in the streets on November 3 celebrating an historic Kerry landslide. I can taste it. I hope you can too. Remember the feeling on New Years 1999? Remember the world unity? Hundreds of countries around the world celebrated the most peace and freedom this planet has seen in 10,000 years. This planet was quickly evolving towards world peace. Then, after 9/11 we saw a world unity that could have led us to fucking Utopia. Bush squandered it. You have 10 days to return us to that future that we deserve.
