IF...God forbid...we have another Florida situation this election...
Has Kerry/Edwards hired a spokesperson to lead any recounts efforts?

Gore/Liberman had Warren Christopher in Florida in 2000. Warren Christopher is a good, decent man...but he's was a total pushover. Later on, William Daley was hired.

I hate even thinking about this...I fully expect and hope that Kerry will win decisively. But given the amoral fuckheads on the other side, any contingency will have to be considered.

IF, again, God forbid we are dealing with a same situation as 4 years ago...we need pitbulls on our side.

2. I would enjoy the scenario of Kerry winning something like
340 electoral votes, but Jeb has 'delivered' Florida for his shorter, older brother...despite the exit polls showing a landslide for Kerry. Now that would be fun!

I still remember the chill I felt when the Bush gang was so certain they had 'won' Florida. They said it was in the bag and it was!

3. IF?
In my opinion it is not a matter of IF. It WILL happen, and in more states than just FL. Ohio is going to be a huge mess.

I actually dread Nov. 3rd. I just think we are in for a long ride.

7. you're right . . . ain't no "if" about it . . .
Florida is Jebbie's state . . . Jebbie is George's little bro . . . not only will there be problems in Florida, they will far surpass those of 2000 due to the touch screen machines, among other things . . . we might know the results of the Florida vote in time for the 2008 elections, if we're lucky . . .

4. IF Bush steals another one,
then "Black people will be in the streets looking for a brighter day," as Gil Scott-Heron told us in "The Revolution Will Not Be Televised."

Kerry's people are mobilized all over the country to prevent anything resembling a repeat of 2000.

They stole one and we let 'em have it. That's in the past now, so let it go, but no more mulligans. Never again.

6. From what I understand,
...six legal swat teams being strategically positioned around the country, complete with everything they need for a long, bloody legal battle, inclulding private jets. No place in the country is more than 1 hour away.

Kerry/Edwards have already identified and/or leased office space in the nine or so states where there will most likely will be problems. Staffing and resource allocation plans have been drawn up, down to how many pencils each desk would need to fight a protracted legal battle. There will be no lag in response time dealing election problems, because Kerry/Edwards are already assuming there will be election drama and have no intention of rolling over or even letting the 'pukes gain the early media upper hand. This time gee-dubya's cousin will NOT be allowed to go on-air at Faux and call Florida.

All of this is necessary because kkkrove is a known nuisance litigator and not above using any means; illegal, immoral or downright under-handed to win an election.

This will be the most observed election in history. If $hrubco is going to steal the White House again, they're gonna have to work for it with a hell of alot of people watching.

9. We WILL have another Florida situation...
We need to assume this. Hope for the best, but plan for the worst.

But this time we can handle it.

24.
