In Ohio the Bush campaign readies its brownshirt army
"Republican Party officials in Ohio took formal steps yesterday to place thousands of recruits inside polling places on Election Day to challenge the qualifications of voters they suspect are not eligible to cast ballots."

snip

"Republicans said they had enlisted 3,600 by the deadline, many in heavily Democratic urban neighborhoods of Cleveland, Dayton and other cities. Each recruit was to be paid $100."

These sick fucks are going to try and intimidate and frighten away new voters. I hope the Democrats in Ohio are prepared for a fight.

Things could get ugly. Real ugly. As far as I'm concerned these thugs in the repuke party are the scum of the earth.

1. Is that legal?
Paying people to be poll watchers? Are any of the unions supporting Kerry going to help us with this (ie. watch the poll watchers)?

5. well it appears they made an unwise choice:
They're going to do whatever it takes to disenfranchise voters, at the expensive of riots and chaos in the streets. And there will be riots if another 2000 happens.

7. What did you do back in the '00s, Grandpa?
I worked for the GOP, Sonny... I kept minorities and college students from voting for John Kerry in the 2004 election.
