Heavy Democratic Turnout could give us back the Senate |
|
If these huge numbers continue then Bush's unpopularity could cost quite a few Republicans their senate seats.

Illinois is guaranteed to replace A Republican Senator (Fitzgerald) with a Dem, the terrific Obama. I also heard on Capitol Gang that Tony Knowles should win in Alaska. Don't know if that's so great as he was frat brothers with Bush at Yale. I don't know much about Knowles but hopefully he's with us more than against us.

3. Marvin *Bush* could run for the senate as a democrat |
|
It doesn't matter, if the dems have a majority, that's it. They are the leadership of the senate. Individual senators matter much less than that, so a Knowles victory is a big deal.
