Democracy Corps Poll: Kerry Ahead 2, Up 7 in Battleground

John Kerry Leads George Bush 49-47 percent of nation-wide LV's, according to a Democracy Corps Poll conducted 10/20-21. The Poll also found that Kerry leads Bush 52-45 percent of LV's in Battleground states and has a 50-41 percent lead among Independent LV's.

Kerry Leads in 10th Straight PA Poll

John Kerry leads George Bush 48-46 percent of Pennsylvania RV's, according to a Morning Call/Muhlenberg College Poll conducted 10/17-22. This makes 10 straight Pennsylvania Polls showing Kerry leading.

3. Is This an Objective Poll?

I'm not trying to sound negative, but is the Democracy Corps Poll a poll run by the Democratic party? If it is, I'm tempted to thing that it might be a little friendly toward Kerry.

I'm hoping to heaven that it's an objective poll, though. I have been looking for good polling news for Kerry for weeks now. If this poll is on the mark and Kerry is ahead by 2 percent nationally, this election is over. The undecided vote will break big-time for JK, and he'lll take nearly all of the battleground states.

Does anyone know about this polling outfit's reputation?

Thanks for the background info on Democracy Corps.

Frankly (and I'm ashamed to admit it), I had never heard of this polling outfit until I read this post. It's great to hear that this group has a good reputation. I have consistently heard that the Zogby group had the 2000 election called more accurately than other other pollster. I had no idea that Democracy Corps also had it called pretty close.

I feel a lot better about the figures that f-junkie posted about.

And I'm feeling a lot better about NOV. 2!!!!

Just wait until all the "unlikely" voters weigh in this year.

I have a friend at work who has never once voted. Not out of laziness, but because he's a total conspiracy theorist. He thinks our whole government is decided by Skull & Bones and our votes mean nothing.

So GUESS WHAT. I found out yesterday that he is registered to vote and will be voting Nov. 2. He told me that he's just too fed up and wants to be a part of the uprising against the Bush machine. Even if it doesn't work, he wants to say he tried.

Kerry is only up 40 - 38 over Bush among people who are likely to vote for Nader.
