1. Does this really mean anything?
Did they endorse Gore in '00?

5. I guess it means as much as the denver post
endorsing *!

The dp will get thousands of letters if true and we think it is!

10. It doesn't hurt. Not with a national edition and NoVa proximity.

After reading the first two paragraphs I decided not to waste my time reading the rest, however.

9. It's what I expected from them, but still they didn't endorse anyone
in '00 and now, however reluctantly, they come out for Kerry.

12. the important thing is that the 2 faced propaganda arm endorsed Kerry
even if it was begrudgingly.

We can now say to voters, today the Washington Post endorsed Kerry.

That makes the two larges business newspapers and most read by
CEO's and republicans, right?

13. * has failed as a "leader"
"These failings have a common source in Mr. Bush's cocksureness, his failure to seek advice from anyone outside a narrow circle and his unwillingness to expect the unexpected or adapt to new facts. These are dangerous traits in any president but especially in a wartime leader. They are matched by his failure to admit his errors or to hold senior officials accountable for theirs."

15. It's about what I expected
Frigging Fred Hiatt (the editorial page editor) drives me crazy, but he knew endorsing bush was not a viable option. I want my Washington Post back. Smarmy has even gained a foothold in the Style section.

16. You want your WaPo back? Good!
After Kerry wins the election, let's work on that. Let's hold big media, both television and newspapers, accountable. Let's hold their feet to the fire until we get truth in reporting.

18. consider yourself signed up
Do you blog? If so, that's one good way to help yourself organize your thoughts and keep track of who is distorting the truth and who is or isn't making the corrections. Blogs also have had a major effect on big media over the last year.

If you don't have a blog, there are tons of spaces online to get one for free.
