Bush Arrested for Drunk Driving

I remember last election when the story broke about Bush having been arrested for drunk driving. The press was looking into it and it was getting interesting. Then the election came and the issue was never fully explored. In fact - I don't know of it being mentioned since.

But - it sure was moving a lot of votes away from Bush.

So - anyone have that info around? Shall we reinvestigate it?

3. I don't think it changed a lot of votes

It was used as an excuse for how wrong the Gallup poll had been a week before the election.

Phonebanking before the election, I think it actually turned away Gore voters, who were upset that 'Gore' released the DUI records.
