The Times recommends electing U.S. Sen. John Kerry as the next president of the United States.
Kerry gets the nod in no small part because the current president has not earned it. The question isn't whether we can afford a change in these difficult times but whether we can afford not to change. Kerry offers a fresh start and new solutions whereas the incumbent is locked into a spiral of denial that demonstrates intractability in the face of what many believe are necessary common-sense course adjustments to our nation's direction."
This is GREAT! In addition, The Times-Picayune declined to make an endorsement today. Maybe Louisiana isn't as "red" as people think.
GO KERRY!
