I saw it mentioned briefly in an article today, but it didn't specify what newspapers they were. Anyone know?

Kerry is racking UP on former Bush endorsements so it's moot, but I want to know what two papers went completely insane since 2000.

1. There's an endorsement count in the Editorials forum
shows all the endorsements

Plus I've seen a post somewhere with the latest Editor & Publisher update

4. I've checked those, but can only find one
PENNSYLVANIA
York Daily Record - Distribution: 46,554 (Note: The York Daily Record endorsed Gore in 2000.) Note however that one editor filed a dissenting opinion, endorsing Kerry.

Unless I'm overlooking the other one.

3. Neither of them happy about it....
In the meantime... about 30 papers that endorsed Bush in 2000 have switched to Kerry now.

6. I know! *happy dance*
The only one endorsing Bush that has really shocked me has been the Chicago Tribune. WTF were they thinking? I was disappointed by a few, but not really shocked.

We're definitely winning the war of old-school newspaper endorsements. The elderly were already going for Kerry, but this should help even more as some older folks still put a lot of weight on newspaper endorsements.
