I think I just thought of the perfect analogy.

Remember the movie, A Fish Called Wanda...at the end Ken was in that black top roller machine and Wanda's brother just stepped in what he didn't realize was fresh concrete?

He saw Ken coming...putt putt putt and he thought it was hillarious. He said what are you going to do K--k-k-ken, shoot me?

Then he realized he'd fired all the bullets in his gun, and the concrete had hardened around his feet. LOL.
