13. I was disappointed at times too...(DMCA., DOMA, Don't Ask, Don't tell) etc |
|
But in my case, it was from being more progressive than he is.
Well, that and Janet Reno was an all-around okay AG, but was lousy (not quite as abyssmal as Ashcroft) when it came to cyber liberties, which dragged down the average from decent to okay.

what assholes conservatives were. Clinton didn't kill 40,000 people to boost his Presidency, and he didn't allow 380 tons of explosives to walk out of a once secured bunker. 776,000 Lockerbies are just waiting to happen because of Bush's actions, or more accurately, his GROSS, FUCKING, STAGGERING, ABSOLUTELY STAGGERING INCOMPETENCE. This is what we get from conservatives: An impeachment over a consensual sex act, or rather, the denial of one, but a LIAR like Bush is allowed to thrive and kill tens of thousands at will.
Clinton is the greatest President in my lifetime. His haters aren't worthy to lick the soles of his shoes. I hope Kerry will surpass him.

24. Many more positives then negatives ! |
|
The positive things that where accomplished under Clinton far outway any negatives ,which for the most part was all part of the repugs constantly trying to get Clinton out of the White House. He out smarted them at every turn. Current history will not be as kind to Clinton as years from now when the nineties under Clinton will be looked upon as one of the most properous times for our country. I will always include President Clinton on my list of the top all time American Presidents ,at the other end bush will always be at the top of the all time worst Presidents, list !

Please spell and grammar check. It's hard to take your argument seriously when it is so poorly phrased. And no, I don't remember what he did with our "countries money", except maybe the part about creating the largest budget surplus in history.

that he would lose weight after such major surgery. It takes a helluva long time to recover from what he just went thru. If he's not feeling up to it I wish he'd just say so. I'd rather he be well than campaign.

happened and I commented then how healthy (fit, trim and handsome) he looked then. So I think he had been dieting even before all this happened.

32. That kind of major surgery takes a lot out of you |
|
figuratively and literally. There's also the "scared straight" part, when people start eating very carefully after this kind of scare.
He probably needs more recuperation in an ideal world. But the opportunity to defeat Bush isn't going to wait on his recovery, and despite the silly rumors to the contrary, I do believe he's genuine about defeating Bush.
My FIL looked pretty scarily thin for a while after his by-passes. He was ok, but it takes its toll both physically and emotionally.
Hopefully, Clinton will be careful, and make good use of his talents for us all!

35. Overall, I think Clinton looks very good for what he |
|
...has endured. I was very impressed with his appearance. It is normal (at least from a handful of friends that have had these procedures) for these patients to lose quite a bit of weight.
I know some people who returned to an active lifestyle pretty quick, and others who took their time. One man I know who took a slower approach did it out of fear of overdoing it, although his cardiologest cleared him early on for normal activity. I guess in some instances it depends on how the patient wants to approach it.
Bill Clinton strikes me as a person who needs to be active and feels better when he feels he is back in control of his life.
I'm sure his doctors and family will keep their eyes on him.
