2. And what will happen if God Forbid an attack occured on Kerry's... |

watch? Those words would come back to haunt him. Kerry is wise not to say it. His surrogate should, but he should not do so.

4. it's more the media that's the problem |
|
rather than just report that it was Kerry's response to Bush people saying how there will be a terrorist attack if Kerry was in office. they would try to claim that Kerry said Bush caused the attacks and then it will be all about how Kerry said something so horrible and outrageous and that Kerry doesn't blame Bin Laden but blames Bush and other crap.
just look at how they reacted with the mary cheney and Teresa thing.

7. Good point - this is why his surrogates are saying it |
|
Wes Clark was very pointed in his remarks re: 9/11 when I saw him last week in VA.
Clarks words: "9/11 could have been prevented, and with the right administration in place it would have been."

5. Kind of wish they would, but Bush and his administration |
|
never, ever, EVER are accountable for anything. They never take responsibility for things that have happened during his tenure.
Didn't you get the memo that 9/11 is Clinton's fault?

8. too late - too dangerous |
|
Should've done it much earlier and built the case, but didn't thanks to the wimpy technocrats running the campaign. Now it's too late and could backfire as sounding like an unfair "conspiracy theory" attack against "our president".

10. It's the inconsistency |
|
If no attacks in three years mean Bush is protecting, then it follows that the attack on 9/11 meant he wasn't.
