Has any polling been done that shows a percentage of voters that voted for Bush in 2000 but are voting for Kerry this time? If so, does that polling also show how many voters backed Gore in 2000 but are voting for Bush in 2004?
Yes, there are many newly registered voters this time (and I believe that will favor Kerry) but I'm curious to know if there's been a shift in 2000 voters from one party to another.
We know that Gore won the popular vote last time. Probably each of us personally know people who voted for Bush in 2000 but aren't voting for him this time. I'd like to see those numbers and if our party has lost any Gore voters to Bush this time around.
