Tweety's Calling It For Kerry....
Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 09:10 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
I don't like to put words in people's mouth but he's basically saying if Bush doesn't change the dynamic he loses...

He bases his predictions on the candidate "who has the wind at his back" and the missing weapons story has supplied the wind...

I agree....

Barring a major gaffe Kerry is the 44th president....

15. I'm surprised that so many listen to Imus
I don't think I've heard his voice since I was a kid in the 70s. Seriously ... I didn't know he was still around.

24. Imus is a fair weather fan.
if his football team was losing in the fourth quarter, he'd say "What a bunch of saps," but then if they suddenly scored big time and won the game, he'd say, "Oh yes, they are great, aren't they?"

25. Happened to see Imus on Monday when Dean was on and he said that
Kerry never had a chance and he has been saying that all along. It put me in a bad mood all day, even if I did not agree with it.

27. I know..I got in a bad mood when someone
told me yesterday who worked at the courthouse that the cops over there were for bush. It didn't last too long ..but it's just the stupidity that gets me down.

I'll bet you're in a better mood now!:D

2. He also said
whoever has the wind on their back on the Thursday prior to the election generally winds. He said if that little bit of wind on Kerry's back continues for a couple of more days he would be on his way to winning. Something like that.

New offensive heading for Fallujah with all those Brits from down south of Baghdad. I hope to hell their October surprise doesn't include vast numbers of body bags...

5. Rove Mission Statement: Put Iraq on back pages--Reality is overrated
Will the broadcast Media abide? Six days to see?

Polls, Bus rides with California Gubnors, More Polls, Stump speechs, More Polls...then maybe introduce the confusions of messages coming out of Iraq.

7. Tweety's ideas are like dandilions in a hurricane
They scatter and disappear in a flash, and have no substance.

Tweety will come out tomorrow and say something completely the opposite. A week ago, he was saying that Bush has it in the bag. He is not worth listening to, even if he does say good things about our cause 1% of the time.

He is a ratings maven, and says things simply to try and get people to watch his show. I just cannot pay any attention to him, or put any significance on anything he says.

9. A poster on Kos heard Charlie Cook say it's trending Kerry
on a radio show this morning. Tweety wouldn't know his ass from a hole in the ground but I'd listen with interest to what Cook has to say.

11. Kerry's got the wind in his sails.
The bad news out of Iraq only helps Kerry. Matthews said candidates rarely get hard news stories like this to help their campaigns. He criticized the chimp for trying to ignore the story and mentioned the iced-over reporter who asked him about it yesterday. He also mentioned something about the people expecting to see their president defend themselves and fighting hard in their bid for {re}election, implying that chimpy is looking weak by refusing to address the mess in Iraq.

 to Chris this morning.

14. Occasionally, tweety gets it right.
This is one of those occasions. Besides, it's not like he's sticking his neck out.

Other than the shrubco mouthpieces, is anyone saying anything dramatically different?

now you have to have the "wind at your back" too? Sheesh!

Hope he's right but the meteorological references are getting cliche, Tweety
