She is clearly the better candidate, no matter WHAT your party affiliation. She's smart, got lots of good experience, passionate, incredible with people, cares about our air and water and schools (tremendously) and is NOT in the back pocket of any big corporations (like the repuke incumbent is). She's level-headed and warm.

The repuke incumbent wasn't even bothering to campaign (he ran unopposed four years ago) until some repukes from around here noticed all her campaign activity, got pissed off, and insisted he start campaigning. He still doesn't even have a campaign HQ here, though. He has been playing catch-up this last month.

And now he's started sending out these horribly nasty, negative ads in the mail about her. GRRRRRRR. They are so without any substance and completely baseless and VAGUE as hell, but I fear they are working.

I fucking HATE people like that and I just needed to get that off my chest. I just hope the people of my district recognize a rat when they see one and vote this bastard out. He's been in 12 years, hasn't done SHIT, got busted running his private prison consulting firm out of his taxpayer funded offices in Austin and hasn't gotten one single endorsement (she got the Dallas Morning News). He voted to allow guns in schools, voted against textbook funding TWICE, voted against birth control or birth control counseling for poor women, etc.

BASTARD.

1. There is a campaign like that here where
Totally negative TV ads have been running for weeks. The two candidates are not in my district, but if they were, I would have voted against the negative, Rethug candidate, just because of her hateful ads.

Now in the last few days the Democratic candidate has started her TV ads. Very positive, very topical.

I really, really hope the Democrat wins by a landslide.
