A guy from the Rocky Mountain News is sitting next to me and.... |

Edited on Wed Oct-27-04 11:22 PM by Buddyblazon
I'm tempted to say something about the endorsement for President Bunnypants. I'm in our makeshift office at the Paramount working the Brian Wilson show...and I've been showing everybody the Eminem video all day.
AND...I have my black hoody on...
So...should I just "Mosh" on him?
What should I do?

He has as much power to change the editorial direction as you and me. Not everyone can stand up for principal. The guy has a job, he has no input on editorials (journalist here just get a little chippy when people blame a reporter for something his editors and publishers do).

4. Tell the guy 'hey' from me... |

I'm sitting here in oldtown Englewood still wondering why the heck the RMN and the other paper (a'hem) have decided to endorse bunnypants. ... .. and it really really really troubles me! Really. But then I realize that most folks in the Denver Metro area who have a functional brain are looking to other places for information, and not *just* using our "Editorially-Independent" newspapers as an information source.

Paramount. Anyway, unless it's the editor, what's his name, Temple, I think? It's not the reporter's fault who they endorse. Cliff May used to be the editor of that paper, so it's no surprise to me that they would endorse W.

7. I'll give on the reporters... |

...you're right... it's not a reporters fault who "the paper" endorses. It's just too bad that this town (and ours is better than most ((take Rockford, IL for example)) for allowing a reporter to report), as in many other regions thorughout the US, has a "newspaper" which has given in to corporate interests.

all went downhill real quick with the JOA a few years back and things were never the same. So I read the New York Times, the WaPo and the LA Times now.
