170,000,000 cell phones in America...not one gets polled
"On average 30 percent of African-Americans vote. Expect a minimum of 50 percent this time, maybe close to double. That is anywhere between 7 to 9 million more blacks voting. Young'ns will have a similar margin. Again, we at most vote at a 40 percent rate. Young'ns will easily double their numbers, going from 18 million to about 36 million."

This was from a letter written to Salon by a young black man. The polls are not even close. Most college kids have cell phones and in fact a lot of young families have cell phones now instead of the old conventional landline phones. Not a single cell phone gets polled. The big story will be not that Kerry won but how far off the Media has been. Kerry is going to win this one by a huge margin. Maybe the biggest ever.

4. according to WaPo, less than 3% of people w/cell phones do not
also have land lines.

However, they said a bigger problem for pollsters is that people aren't home, screen their calls, refuse to answer poll qs, etc.
