News out of Florida (Duval County) Early Voting - Dems lead

News out of Florida (Duval County) Early Voting - Dems lead
No link but just reported over local news, early voting shows 20,000 Democratic votes to 11,000 Republican votes.

7. Duval is Jacksonville area,
where there was widespread supression of the black vote in 2000. If I were in that situation I would be voting early too, to be sure that I could, this time. So if this is what is going on there, we may not be able to gather much from these early voting figures.

9. Duval is largely Republican
With 66 percent Repubs, 34 percent Democrats, at least before the attempts to register Democrats this year.

10. Wonderful News!
A Democratic lead in early voting means that Republican efforts to reduce voting on election day may be neutralized.

It makes every Republican vote that much more important, which in turn means that the GOP will have to focus exclusively on Dem disenfranchisement, rather than simply reducing turnout in general.

Don't let 'em get close enough to steal it, Florida! Keep piling it on!
