1. I wonder if they're going to play
his "MOSH"?

5. He has a lot of clout. It'll be awfully interesting to see if GE
tries to pressure him out of it.

Even if they were successful, he could just wear the black hoodie at this point and still get the idea across.

Better still - he pulls an Elvis Costello (that's an SNL reference for the other geezers out there) and changes to Mosh mid-song.

4. But...I hate Eminem.
I realize that he's on our side in the election and that he has potential to sway some young voters, but that doesn't change my opinion of him much!

7. Then Keep Your Mind Closed and Don't Watch
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 09:42 PM by TheWatcher
Why don't you try wacthing the Video.....

Why don't you try LISTENING to what the kid is SAYING....

Why don't you listen to the MESSAGE.....

Like he says in the Video, why can't we "put aside our differences?", and focus on the REAL problem threatening this country.....

This "I Hate the Messenger, so I'll ignore the Message, no matter how important or powerful it is" Crap is getting old.

10. Oh, please. The guy is a homophobic, misogynistic freak.
There are plenty of other "messengers" to choose from out there that don't openly abhor many of the beliefs that liberals believe in. Jumping on the bandwagon just because he happens to spend four minutes bashing Bush is ludicrous.

Or, since you suddenly think he's such a wonderful guy because of this "message", I guess you condone his previous messages of killing your mother/spouse and stuffing her in the trunk.

One good deed does not supersede a lifetime of hate. Just ask Strom Thurmond.

8. I'm not a fan of Eminem
Edited on Fri Oct-29-04 09:43 PM by mark0rama
mostly for his content (up until now, anyway), not his style or sound.

But at the insistence of 2 friends, I went with them to 8 Mile when it first came out. And as much as I dislike Eminem, when I saw the film, I felt like Jack Black in High Fidelity, listening to the skate punks' tape: grudgingly admitting through clenched teeth, "it's really... fucking... good."

I've gotta give the kid credit; he's got... something.

they will be making appearances too!

Err...scratch that, maybe not. They'll be appearing on some Spanish language game show or something. Nevermind.

OH ... is it cuz they're for Kerry ... who speaks French and will re-establish an alliance with France when he's elected?
