Bush? I think this photo says a lot.

1. Even more important -- other countries in the region
Other countries, including Iran, are fueling the attacks against Americans and Iraqis in Iraq because, as General Clark says, they sense they're "next on the list." Chimp rattled that sabre so long and so loud, making noises about "Axis of Evil" and accepting the advice of PNACers, they believe that if Iraq succeeds, they'll be invaded next.

They will do anything to keep Iraq in chaos for that reason. If they believed it was in their interest to HELP the effort rather than sabotage it, it would make a world of difference. Chimp can't get there, though. Kerry can, and he knows it's important.

2.  maybe-but they will wait and see
what he does. they will see who he backs and how he restores law and order. kerry has to make peace with the council of muslim scholars and the various tribes that really control iraq. will kerry do this? i doubt it, kerry will play the game the same as any other western nation in dealing with the "arabs" and still keep the same policy of backing israel and the idf war machine with billions of our tax dollars..same old shit just a different name
