Would Wesley Clark make a good Secretary of State if....
he doesn't get the nomination? I think he has the experience and should be in the Cabinet of whomever wins the nomination. He's a smart guy and is great at communicating with other people and understanding their needs and goals, in my opinion. I hope the other candidates keep him in mind if he does not win. However, I am not ready to say that the General does not have an excellent chance at being the nominee...:)

1. I certainly hope that ALL the candidates
remember that it will take a combined effort to unseat this tricky president who will use his Nixon-era trained Rove to use every dirty trick in the book. I sincerely hope that those candidates who ultimately drop out of the race go on to actively support the winning candidate, and that the winning candidate utilize them during the campaign and in his administration.

If Clark is not President, I think he would make a great Secretary of State. I also think Carol Moseley-Braun should be given an important postition-perhaps Ambassador to the UN.

3. Why would you think Secretary of State?
Maybe Defense or Commerce - that is where his experience is. I'm thinking we might see Madeline Albright again at State.

There are a lot of Clinton people who still have a lot to offer and can help get our world relations back on track.

Also, it would be a departure to see any vanquished candidates in the cabinet, regardless of who is elected President.

4. Not State, Defense
Although I suspect he will be Vice President.
