MCCAin is a filthy POS.....
I know the first inclination is to praise him for speaking out, but WTF, where was he when the camera wasb't on him? Where were his objections when he was campaigning for the Military Industrial complex personified?

He of the pained face, looking up and saying how bad it is that this is happening, that our soldiers are in harms way.....

Well, John, how's about expending some of that political capital to speak out against the abuses instead of running around picking up chits for the 2008 campaign.,....

The worst kind of politician imanginable. Someone who sets himself above the frey yet when puss come to shove, meekly takes the shove and asks for more......

BTW, I share your feelings. I would vote for McCain if he was running against Bush. Otherwise, forget it. He's as bad as Ghouliani.

5. Then there's this
McCain said he campaigned for Shays because he heard the Republican congressman is in a tight race. He criticized Democratic challenger Diane Farrell for what he said was her negative campaign against Shays, trying to link him to the House Republican leadership.

“I say to her, ‘Shame on you for the campaign you've run,”‘ McCain said.

C'mon John, ya spineless jellyfish. Bush SLIMED you 4 years ago, and he used your ADOPTED kid to do it. Sort of puts the nail in the coffin of that "adopt don't abort" argument he makes, doesn't it?

I wouldn't normally be this hard on a "war hero", but the smear boaters said it's OK to spit on them. Who am I to argue?
